Sally Rippin

On Thursday June 14, students in Grades 3 were fortunate to host local author and illustrator Sally Rippin. Sally is touring and promoting her new book ‘Polly and Buster: The magic stone’ which is book 2 in the series. Sally spoke about the themes of the Polly & Buster books: friendship, kindness and empathy, inclusiveness and ethnic diversity. Having lived overseas extensively, Sally is particularly passionate about cultural diversity in children's literature. The students had an opportunity to ask questions and have their Sally Rippin books signed.
