Moments in Science

Science around the School 

On June 19th the Year 1 Classes invited students, parents, grandparents and caregivers to showcase and celebrate their learning this term. Their Scientific Integrated Unit of Inquiry on How Toys Work culminated in a Toy Fair to share the Toy that each student had produced from a range of materials, with a focus on Forces. 

Mini Scientists enjoyed the opportunity to explain their design, production and the workings of their toy to their keen audience .

A big thank you to Sharon, Cassie, Annabelle, George, Kirsty and Anita for all the time, preparation (and cleaning up!) that went into this big term of learning.
