Cara Crawford - 34C

What characteristic do you most admire in others?

Kindness! It’s something that is so easy to spread around and everyone benefits from. I hear Pevan and Sarah also have a new song about it at the moment too!

What is something that you do to relax and unwind?

Take my dog Milo on a walk to the park. He has a lot of energy so needs to go every day, but I love taking him and watching him play!

What super power would you like to have?

I want to be a wizard like Harry Potter! I would love to just wave my magic wand to get things done.

What do you miss most about being a kid?

Swimming at the beach no matter what time of year or how cold it was! I still love the beach but there’s no way I’m jumping in the water in any season other than Summer!

When are you the happiest?

When I’m at the happiest place on earth of course... Disneyland!

Josh Horan - PE

What characteristic do you most admire in others?

Perseverance. I really admire people who are willing to keep on trying and never give up. No matter how hard it seems, to keep on trying! Maybe that’s why I am a Carlton fan…

What is something that you do to relax and unwind?

I love to play guitar to unwind when at home. I sometimes even just grab my camera and go for a walk. I love to take photos of the streets around my house and capture some amazing street art.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

When I was younger I actually got the chance to meet some amazing people in Elvis Presley and John Lennon. I met Elvis at a petting zoo when it was raining quite heavily. I was carrying a spare umbrella with me and noticed this guy that needed one. I went over and handed it to him only to realise it was Elvis! He said, “Thank you very much” and he gave me his favourite guitar pick! I got the chance to meet John Lennon by random chance when I saw him buying bird seed at a pet store. He gave me some great advice and said to me, “Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.” That’s something I really have tried to live by since.

What did you want to be when you were younger?

I actually wanted to be a magician/comedian. I have always loved magic and still to this day am amazed by it. I still try my hand at magic and specifically card magic. I’m not very good but I am slowly getting better (just ask Miss Mac)! I also loved to laugh when I was younger and still do. I love the feeling of making other people laugh, so I thought being a comedian was the way to do it! I would always say to my mum, “Don’t worry about high school or university, just send me to Comedian School”. I actually thought that such a place existed! Instead I realised I could achieve all this as a teacher and spread some joy and still tell my lame jokes!

When are you the happiest?

I am my happiest when I am outside and making people laugh. I also love to travel. I have now traveled to 23 different countries and worked in 3! I have been lucky enough to see some fantastic things around the world and have some great experiences. I consider myself very lucky to have experienced these things!
