OGPS Community Blog

OGPS Community Blog

Have you seen our new OGPS Community Blog?

The teachers and staff have been adding all sorts of fun things to the blog since we have been learning from home. I thought I would share a few with you, in case you’ve missed them.

Miss Mets has got a dance challenge happening for all OGPS friends and families who like to get down and boogie. She has set a challenge for you and your family to film yourselves cutting loose on the dance floor. Check out the details here.

Mr Liston is sharing some pretty tricky maths problems every Monday. There’s a question for younger grades and one for older grades & parents and you have a week to solve them before the answers are revealed. Do you have what it takes to solve Mr Liston’s Maths Problems?

Now I’m sure a lot of you would’ve heard of the Rainbow Trail by now, but have you heard of The Ruby Walk?? We are asking members of the OGPS community to draw pictures of Ruby to put in their windows. This way, when you go for a walk and see pictures of Ruby you will be reminded that although you are not at school - we are all in this together!

You might not have realised it, but our school photos were scheduled for last week. Year Five decided to share some very interesting versions of their school photos on the blog. Check them out & have a little laugh!

Next week, we will see the Year Two Bickie Beauty Contest, and you can vote for the best ANZAC Biscuits made by our clever Year Two students and families.

Lastly, a reminder to all students and parents at OGPS.

If you have something you’d like to share with the blog, please email it to your teacher or to me, Aide Sarah, and we will post it for you. It can be anything! Have you created a great artwork or built an amazing block tower? Do you have a new pet you want to show off? Anything goes! Just remember that the blog is a public site so if you don’t want your face and/or name published with what you are sharing, just let us know.

Have a great week everyone, and don’t forget to comment on the posts to get involved in this fun community site.
