Congratulations to “The Incorrect Answers” who were the winning team for Term 1 on 192 points  followed by The Scotties on 185 and DaPotatoes on 167 to make up our top 3 teams. 

Term 2 trivia board starts fresh on May 5th, Lunch time in the library.

New Books!

We have had lot’s of new books arriving at the school library with more on their way to us. Make sure you check out our book spinner that holds all our new arrivals.

The Children’s Book Council of Australia 

The CBCA has released their 2023 shortlisted books for the book of the year award.

Book of the year younger readers shortlist  7-12 year olds.

Break Schedule

We have implemented a year level schedule for the Library at recess and lunch breaks.  

This allows for all year levels to access the space in a more efficient and structured way for borrowing and activities.  

There are opportunities for a Library pass, if you are a Library monitor and help in this space.

The challenge is well underway at SCSC and we already have some students heading towards the finish line, ready to get their hands on some prizes.

The challenge will end on the 8th September, so there is still plenty of time to get those books read and listed. We have 283 SCSC students registered so far.

We celebrated May the 4th in the library with lots of star wars talk, books, book marks and some string art which made for lots of noise and lots of laughs. Thank you to Zebe H and Dune P for their help with lunchtime activities.
