Wellbeing

Walk Safely to School Day is the 19th of May. As we all know a healthy lifestyle is essential for overall wellbeing. We encourage your family to discuss the importance of exercise and a balanced diet, maybe over breakfast! This brochure includes some ideas for breakfast foods to start your day off well. You may also want to consider walking to school on this day. The topic of healthy lifestyles will also be reinforced in the classroom.

E-Safety

All parents want their children to be safe when learning and playing online.

eSafety's express learning series provides parents and carers with practical tips and advice on common online safety concerns. The videos are 5 to 10 minutes long and cover four important topics, including:

  • Setting up parental controls
  • Digital technologies and mental health
  • Cyberbullying and online drama
  • Online sexual harassment and image-based abuse

These short videos and easy-to-read advice sheets will help give you the confidence to talk with your children about online safety. They include tips to help them stay safe, and important information about what to do if something bad does happen online.
