Competition 2023
Public speaking has a significant place in the K – 6 English Syllabus and interweaves both speaking and listening skills: an integral part of a child’s overall literacy development.
This interschool competition for Years 5 and 6 provides an excellent opportunity to enhance students’ speaking and listening skills in front of an audience.
Students will be beginning their Public Speaking preparation and speeches when they return in Term Two.
The Public Speaking Semi Final is on the 25th May held at St Margaret Mary's.
The Public Speaking Grand Final in on the 14th June held at OLSH.
