COLOUR RUN

PARENTS WELCOME TO RUN WITH THEIR CHILD

On Thursday the 6th of April, for the last day of Term one Albanvale Primary School will be celebrating by running our first ever Diversity Dash/Colour Run. A diversity dash encourages maximum participation from students, teachers, families, and the surrounding community. Families and community members are encouraged to come along to watch and or join in the fun and take part in the activities. Students will complete a range of stations filled with fun activities on the Diamond Reserve Oval behind the school.

As a part of our Diversity dash, we will also include a colour run and a whole school dance area. When students complete an activity, they will be sprayed with a colourful powder to celebrate completing an activity. The school will be providing white shirts for all students to help show off all the wonderful colours, students are encouraged to wear old clothes and to bring a towel if possible.

This event is a non-school uniform event. Any students that come in school uniform will complete alternative stations with the same fun activities. The event will be taking place on the last day of term on Thursday the 6th of April from 1:30pm until 2:30pm. Students will be dismissed by their teachers from the large asphalt area located behind the school grounds. Hope to see you all there.
