Wipe Out Waste (WOW) Wednesday

Dear RMPS families, This term we are introducing Wipe out Waste Wednesdays. As part of our schools commitment to reducing waste to landfill, we are holding a waste-free lunch day every Wednesday. A waste free lunch contains no throwaway packaging, packed in a reusable lunchbox or bag. Food is put in reusable containers rather than wrapped in disposable packaging. A drink of water in a refillable bottle.Each fortnight the class with the lowest amount of waste will be recognised at assembly. Our fabulous ECO Captains will organise this within their own classrooms by tallying up the amount of waste.T hankyou for supporting your child's participation in Wipe out Waste Wednesdays and our schools waste and sustainability program.
