Learning & Teaching

This term St Mary’s learners will be exploring the concept of change through the lens’ of history or science. Many of our classes are engaging our learners through an Inquiry launch to inspire and excite the learners ready to create wonderings and delve deeper into the inquiry.

Year 1

This week, Year One students have shown excitement and curiosity as they’ve begun exploring explanation texts in literacy. Students have been learning about the lifecycle of butterflies. They have had their first attempt at writing to explain how butterflies grow and change. We look forward to researching and explaining lots of different topics this term.
