2. How did you end up teaching at Marian College?
I was working at CRC Sydenham, teaching 12 English and 12 Literature. It was a Term 2 replacement, and I was looking for a more permanent position. A teacher at Marian College, Anne Agresta, was serious ill and they needed to replace her; so I applied. At the time, Ms. Kerrie Williams interviewed me, and I remember hoping I would be hired, as I enjoyed speaking to her and the amazing energy she brought to the interview. I then taught, in my first year: 7 Drama, 7 Maths, 7 Humanities, 7 English and 7 RE…..all of the same class!
