"Continuous effort — not strength or intelligence — is the key to unlocking our potential."

Liane Cardes

On Friday, May 5, the Brigidine Athletics Carnival took place, and what a day it was! The atmosphere was electric, the students were buzzing with excitement, and the teachers were cheering on their respective houses with as much enthusiasm as the students.

We want to take a moment to thank all the teachers who helped to make this day possible. Your hard work and dedication to our students never goes unnoticed, and the Athletics Carnival was no exception. Your efforts in organising and coordinating the event were nothing short of outstanding, and we are grateful for everything you do.

But it wasn't just the teachers who shone on the day. The students were also incredible. The house spirit was alive and well, and everyone got behind their respective houses with gusto. The enthusiasm on display was truly infectious, and it was heartening to see the students come together to support each other and show off their sporting talents.

From the sprint races to the long jump, the discus to the shot put, every event was fiercely contested, and the level of skill on display was impressive. It was clear that many of our students had been practising hard in the lead up to the carnival, and their efforts paid off in spades.

The Athletics Carnival is more than just a day of sport. It's a chance for our students to come together, to show their house spirit, and to have fun. And this year's carnival certainly lived up to that. It was a day filled with laughter, high spirits, and a sense of community that we are proud to be a part of.

So once again, a huge thank you to all the teachers and students who made the Brigidine Athletics Carnival such a success. We can't wait to see what you all achieve next year.
