Pastoral Care

Parent Education Courses

Relationships between parents and their daughters evolve most throughout the high school years and navigating the change in status from primary caregiver to primary advocate can be both extremely joyful and, at times, the ultimate test of patience. At Brigidine College we are fortunate to have a CatholicCare counsellor, Ms Sophia See, on staff to provide therapeutic emotional and wellbeing support to our students every day of the week. However, parents also need the utmost support during one of the most difficult transition times for teenage girls. Fortunately, CatholicCare’s Wellbeing and Family Relationship Services specialises in equipping parents with evidence-based skills to best support their daughters through this crucial time of socio-emotional development.

The following courses are taking place throughout May and June, and are delivered by child development professionals. Please contact CatholicCare on 13 18 19 or at pcd@catholiccare.org for further information or to make a booking.
