Ringwood North Family Festival
In welcoming in the month of May we are officially opening our Ringwood North Family Festival 6 month count-down! That is right, add the date NOW to your diary: Saturday 21st October 2023 11am-6pm. A few updates for this fortnight:
- In our next newsletter we will be introducing you to our amazing festival sponsors for 2023. We have a mix of local and school community businesses and we are so excited to have them on board. We have a small amount of Bronze ($300) sponsorship packages remaining so get in contact with Mel Lawrence should your business be interested in this opportunity. Contact Melanie.444@live.com and refer to sponsorship outline attached.
- Our festival committee is working hard behind the scenes currently and we would welcome any interested parents who would like to join us at our next meeting on Thursday 25th May at 7:00pm in the staffroom. For new families to the school, the festival is parent driven with the assistance of the school leadership and teaching staff. Our last festival was back in 2018 (2020 cancelled due to COVID) and hence we are long overdue in not only providing a day of fun and festivities for our children but also a big fundraising effort for the school. Hence we would welcome any assistance or contributions to making this a spectacular festival. Feel free to speak to any of the committee listed below or come along to the next meeting:

3. There will be further details supplied regarding the festival over the coming months, but currently we would love to hear from our school community if you are able to assist with the following:
-meat and soft drink supply/donations for our school run BBQ on the day
-donations for our raffle (items, hampers, gift certificates, experiences etc)
-links with local community groups who may like to perform on our mainstage on the day
-anyone who may be able to supply freezers for use on the day

Call Out for community groups for RNPS
Do you have any connections to local community social or sporting clubs? The festival planning committee is asking if any school families have connections to community or sport groups that would like to be part of the day. This could include a demonstration of their groups skills, for example dance, karate or an activity children could participate in.
