Open Evening

Visitors to the Food Tech room on Open Evening were given the royal treatment. They got to choose their favourite Scone topping and even may have heard some of our happy cooks singing in the kitchen.

Year 7

Last week, the Year 7 students enjoyed making Pizza and Scrolls. This week they made Easter Cupcakes.

Year 8 English

In Year 8 English, students are creating their own visual narratives with clear social contentions. Many of the students have come up with interesting plot lines and creative ideas from picture books to graphic novels to commercials and even stop motion films!

Year 9/10 French

Year 9 and 10 students had a cultural lesson in French this week. We made Pain Perdu (French Toast) and played Pétanque (similar to Lawn Bowls).

Unit 1 Psychology

In Unit 1 Psychology, students are learning about the many amazing functions and systems of our brain. Last week, students demonstrated their understanding of a neuron through food (lolly) art.
