Premier’s Be Active Update

The Premier’s Be Active Challenge is in full swing, encouraging children to be more active more often and improve their health and well being. It’s been great to see so many children active during the school day and after school.

Please continue to be active for at least 5 out of 7 days a week for 60 minutes a day and record your physical activity in the take home booklets provided.

All booklets are to be returned to your child’s class teacher by Friday 16/9.

Remember all participants will receive a medal for their hard work.

Sports Day/Colour Run Update

Our annual Sports Day will be held in Term 4, Thursday 10/11. The day will conclude with the whole school colour run. Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.

Championship Sprint and Whole School Relay Trials

On Monday 19/9 (week 9), Mrs Byrnes and Mr Smith will be holding runoffs during the day for all students from reception to year 6. The first four finishes in each year level and sports day colour will have the opportunity to run in championship sprints or whole school relay on Sports Day.

If your child is absent on the day, they will be given an opportunity to run in week 10 before the championship sprints and relay teams are announced.
