Anti-Bullying Poster Competition

Our Anti-Bullying Poster Competition is well underway with our Wellbeing Ambassadors working hard to promote the competition by designing spectacular promotional posters. The posters have been placed all around the school and each class will participate.

Each classroom teacher will short list 3 posters from their classes and then the Wellbeing Ambassadors and myself will choose 3 winners. There will be a first, second and third prize. The Wellbeing Ambassadors have decided that different year levels will have different themes.

Themes

Seniors 5-6: Word Art/ Quotes related to Bullying

Middle years 3-4: Kindness

Early years R-2: Togetherness/happiness

Further details about the competition can be found on the poster below.

Please use this opportunity to talk to your children about bullying and how they can be an upstander when they see someone else being bullied.

To support you in having the conversation with your child, I have added links below to a few great resources that you can use.

RESOURCES:

Bullying. No Way!  - This website has fantastic information for families.

kidshelpline - This website breaks up the different forms that bullying can take.

I am super excited to see all the poster designs!

Fundraising at LNPS

Well done to the Fundraising Ambassadors and student volunteers who have supported our fundraising by selling the 'George baking packs'. I am sure that there are many happy families out there who are enjoying the delicious Greek desserts that they purchase.

Active Lunch

The Active Lunch Ambassadors have been working hard to organise fun and engaging activities for the whole school. A reminder that the gym is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Students need to check with Ambassadors when they visit to ensure that it is their allocated day to be in the gym.
