Science Week 2022:

What a fun and exciting week we had at Trinity celebrating National Science Week 2022!

Building on the scientific method the students have learnt in class they were exposed to the real - world applications of science! The students had to take on the role of forensic scientists as they analysed evidence and pieced together clues to solve the crime.

They discovered that our body is made up of DNA and that sometimes at crime scenes DNA is left behind! They also found out that twins can have the same DNA however their fingerprints can be different! It was so great to see each student so engaged in this learning experience working collaboratively in a team, asking questions and helping each other! When reflecting on this experience one student stated “I discovered the importance of double checking all the facts before making a statement!” and another said, “I didn’t see the facts which were right in front of me!”

So I wonder…who stole the money from the safe? Was it Mindy or Candy?
