Biodiversity Month - September

Biodiversity is the variety of all life forms on earth – the different plants, animals and micro-organisms, and the ecosystems that are their homes. Biodiversity Month is on every September to promote the importance of protecting, conserving and improving biodiversity.

In the spirit of preserving and appreciating nature, we thought we would mention that 1st September is National Wattle Day. The golden wattle is one of our most beautiful native plants symbolising unity and resilience in the face of climate change, biodiversity loss and natural habitat destruction.

It's all happening this month  - because it's also National Threatened Species Day and Save the Koala day on the 7th and 30th of September, respectively.
