Some updates from the Parents' Committee:

Next week is our annual Father’s Day Stall!! 

Father’s Day Stall:  The father’s day stall is next Friday morning, 2nd September 2022. We will have a lovely range of gifts for your children to buy  for their dad or special person ranging from $2 - $10 dollars. Please remember to give your child some money on Friday so they can participate. 

Father’s Day Stall volunteers:  We are still looking for some additional volunteers, come for the whole morning or just an hour. Father’s Day Co-coordinator: We are still looking for an additional person to be an understudy coordinator of our mother’s and father’s day stalls this year.  The role requires about 5 hours to source gifts and a half day to run the stall.  This year you would be mentored by our outgoing coordinator Rachel Halliwell and you will work with another co-convenor. Please contact your Class Convenor if you are interested.  

Other PC Activities and Plans 

Pain aux Chocolate:  We have increased our order this week to 175 pains and hopefully this will match demand. Please get in early to avoid disappointment. 

Stargazing:  We are still looking for a suitable date and we will reschedule to a new date as soon as possible. 

Diwali – Festival of Light: We plan to bring back the much loved Diwali festival this year at the end of October. We plan to have a Bollywood dance workshop, Rangoli (mandalas), DIY lanterns and samosas! Please contact your class convener if you would like to assist us with planning. 

PC End of Year Party Planning Meeting:  An extra PC meeting will be held on Tuesday, 6 September to discuss the end of year party. We need to start planning now! All welcome. Zoom attendance can be facilitated.
