ANZAC Biscuits and The Royal Melbourne Show

Our Year 8 and 9 Foods elective students have been busy making ANZAC biscuits for the Melbourne Royal Art, Craft and Cookery Competition. 

The competition started more than 110 years ago and in fact originates from another competition called 'Women's Industries'. 

During this year's September school holidays, people can visit the Spotlight Makers Pavilion and view thousands of exhibits on display. 

Vermont Secondary College has entered one student from every Year 8 and Year 9 Foods Elective class into the competition and if successful, their work will be on display for all to see.
