How To Stay Safe While Surfing the Internet
The internet is a vast and an ever-jarring database of communities. Never is it asleep, always on the edge. The idea of the internet seems very pleasant, but it isn’t what it seems.
The internet, an extensive community of people, is bound to have malicious individuals who seek to cause havoc, people like these should be cautiously avoided. You may ask “But how would I do that?”, well you are in luck, do no trust people you do not know, never, no matter if they were your online friend, they can always be a potential predator. Do not trust these people or anyone that is a stranger with your personal information and never show vulnerability towards them. These foul categories of predators also include scammers, people who pretend to be someone else and they can impersonate someone famous and or official. Avoiding these scammers is difficult, the best way is to only trust people who you actually know.
If you have ever stumbled across a link from an unknown website or message, 9 times out of 10 they are a malware virus. These blue highlighted links could possibly download or inject a dangerous virus into your device. These viruses could bypass or sneak into your device and even worse store information about you illegally. A way to avoid these accidents is by making sure the link is from a trustworthy website and not clicking on every link someone sends you. TIP! Websites with bit.ly, html or anything that isn’t https are most likely malicious websites.
Overall, when browsing through the internet, always be on your highest guard, never trust a stranger, never ever click unauthorized or unknown links from suspicious websites and don’t give out your personal information to any unfamiliar person. Surf Safe!
