Year 7 Art Projects

We are celebrating the terrific work of 7H with a display of the wonderful artworks they have created.   The display includes; "Zentangle" inspired artworks of fish, owls and elephants. These are presented as 3 giant collages that will find a home in the Learning Centre in term two.

The students have designed a fantastic wind-chime installation inspired by nature which is also on display.

The classes still life drawings have been drawn using pastels and pencils.  They have also formed from "Modrock" hand sculptures have which have been painted with animal features and are on display in the gallery.

Year 10 Quirky Couture

This term students have been using reclaimed clothing and materials to produce tops, bags, shoes, hats and gloves. They are currently enjoying making their own jewellery using a variety of materials and techniques, including resin and "Sculpey".  The students are really looking forward to designing and making corsets next term. 

Year 11 Art

On display in the gallery are the preliminary art works from our year 11 Art students which include traditional portrait drawing techniques using pastels.  Also on show in the gallery is a fantastic installation of 3D wire sculptures.
