Hi Everyone,

Colour Explosion

It’s just over a week to go until our Colour Explosion and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s all coming together and we can’t wait to see the delight in the children’s faces as they run around the oval getting splashed in water and colour. It’s going to be an awesome event for our school.

A note has been put on Compass regarding all you need to know about the day. We ask for you to familiarise yourself with it.

Mothers & Special Persons Day stall and event

We have had a member of Parents & Friends working away in the background on this and it’s starting to really take shape. We have opted to reach out to school & local communities for gifts for the stall to help reduce plastic/waste and build community relations. The sneak peek of gifts we have seen are looking fabulous and we can see they are going to be popular.

The event (see Event planner for details) is starting to take shape and will look a little different than in previous years.

Icy Poles

Please note due to the Colour Explosion, we will not be selling icy poles on Friday 26th March, meaning this Friday is the last day for icy poles.

We will be selling icy poles for the first weeks of Term 2. We will then review what winter Friday treats we are going to be selling. If you have any suggestions for something over winter please let us know.

Trivia Night

Term 2 sees us starting to plan our next big fundraiser. This is a hugely successful event. It’s fun, a great ice breaker for meeting members of the school community and for letting mums/ dads/ special persons let their hair down. Make sure to mark this date in your diary and book your babysitters now!

Meetings

We are currently reviewing how and when we hold our meetings to make sure we’re including as many of the school community as we can. A survey will be sent out shortly and we would appreciate your feedback, especially if you have wanted to get involved but haven’t been able to so far.
