Principals Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

The St Xavier’s School Advisory Council met this week. The SAC meets once a term and discusses a number of items. These items include things such as the budget, buildings and maintenance issues and plans, school policies and procedures, staffing and enrolments. The SAC works in an advisory capacity to help the Principal with particular decision making. 

The current members are;

Chairperson-Lisa Davis

Principal-Jen Honner

Parish Priests- Father Abmar, Father Sampson

School representatives -Leanne Herden AP and Jeni Muller Finance

Parents-Emma Brown, Jon Renton, Megan Ellbourn, Justin Hobson

This term the major items we discussed were the Annual Improvement Plan, the 2021 budget and the building works. The meeting concluded with a short tour of the new school. 

The SAC members are also a link between the parents and the school. They are happy to bring any feedback parents might have to the  attention of the school. We appreciate the role they play  and the support they give.
