Welcome Picnic
The P&F Welcome Picnic, scheduled for February 26, was an unfortunate victim of the recent Covid lockdown. The good news is we are still looking at holding this fun and social evening on a new date. Subject to restrictions, we will be looking at rescheduling early in Term 2. The date will be discussed and confirmed at our upcoming AGM on March 11 and once we confirm the new date in conjunction with the school, we will announce details through the usual channels (Bulletin, Junior News and email). Care & Share Program
Last week, our Principal Mr Houghton introduced the P&F’s flagship initiative to the Huntingtower community – the Care & Share Program.
This important initiative is designed to support Huntingtower families affected by adversities such as illness or hardship by drawing together the love and support of other Huntingtower families and staff.
This program will be coordinated by the Huntingtower P&F but seeks the support of volunteers from within the school community who might be drawn upon when required to support a family in need.
We believe that this initiative strongly reflects the values of love and kindness represented by the school and we encourage you to become involved to make this a truly successful and long-term program.
