Virtual Three-Way Interviews – Tuesday, 21 July 2020

Thank you to all of the families who took part in this year’s virtual Three-Way Interviews on Tuesday. This was a highly valuable time for students, with the support of their teacher and parents, to focus on what is important as they begin second semester. As always, we value the partnership we have with our families as our children develop independence and increased ownership over their learning.

Vacation Care Program

Many College families and also students from the wider community participated enthusiastically in the Vacation Care Program. Thank you to the families who support this program so positively. Thanks also to the great team of staff that creates such a positive and uplifting environment for our students.

ART EXHIBITION IN CPA

A range of Senior School and Junior School artworks are on display in the Centre for Performing Arts until Week 7, Term 3.

The Junior School artworks include:

  • Pre-Primary: 'My Walk' - captures long winding pathways, steep hills and bumpy tracks (ink and fine marker pen); Painting with Scissors - taking inspiration from French artist Henri Matisse, students produced paper cut-outs exploring natural shapes (heliograph prints on fabric, watercolours).
  • Year 2: Contour Shapes - explores line, shape and pattern. Simple geometric shapes form intricate puzzle pieces in coloured card.
  • Years 3, 4 and 5: Organic Forms - depict optical illusions on paper exploring the impact between colours and three dimensional forms (fine permanent pen, coloured felt markers).
  • Year 4: Cityscapes - students were inspired by Cubist-style architecture and bright colour schemes after exploring the artwork 'Castle and Sun' (tulle fabric, pastel chalk pencils on black paper).
