Online Library

Even though the GEC physical library is empty of students and staff there has been a hive of activity happening online. Loans on our eBook platform are up over 600% from April to August compared to the same period last year! The most popular books borrowed are: The Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus Book 3) by Rick Riordan, Boy: Tales of Childhood by Roald Dahl, Wonder by R.J. Book Week 2020 (October 17 - 23)

Preparations for the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) Book Week celebrations at GEC are underway! Book Week this year has been moved from August to October due to the pandemic.

Science Week

Science Week was celebrated during remote learning. Explore our online databases and eBooks for all your science information needs. New science titles will be available in the library when we return to school.

Book requests

Book ordering has not stopped during remote learning. Titles which have been requested will be available for collection once the College reopens. Student suggestions for purchase should be emailed to library@gec.vic.edu.au
