International Students 

2020 has been a year full of challenges and uncertainty but we are sure we can and we will get through it together. Our international students would like to take this chance to give a big thank you to the entire amazing Glen Eira College Community.  Although we are apart, we are together. We thank all teachers, staff, parents, carers, friends and homestay hosts. 

 We thank all teachers and staff for their great patience and huge support to our international students in or outside of the classroom. It is you who are always here to engage our students, encourage and motivate them in study and school activities.  We would like to especially thank our teachers and IT staff who have been helping one of our Year 9 students who has been taking online learning overseas. This student is working very hard at her studies even though there many IT challenges and a two-hour time difference. 

We also give thanks to all our wonderfully caring and responsible homestay families. Our homestay families have been taking care of our international students during this tough period by providing them with nutritious food and a safe, warm place to stay.  It is their generosity, kindness and tolerance that makes our students stay healthy, relaxed and safe. 

We wish all Glen Eira College community to stay safe and all the best for the remainder of 2020.
