Parent and Community

What an exciting time in the garden, the students have worked really hard clearing out all the old growth and turning the soil ready for winter. Then we received the most amazing donation from Cranbourne Bunnings with enough seedlings to fill our entire garden! We were also lucky enough to receive a worm farm and a big compost tumbler. We can’t wait to get back to school and start composting! How do you compost at home? Send me a photo so we can put it in the newsletter reaganr@cranbournesouth.vic.edu.au

Happy Gardening!

Virtual Tour Video

A team of our wonderful staff and students have put together a Virtual Tour video that is now available on our website.

Our virtual tour video is an opportunity to showcase all that is amazing about our school.

Triple P online is now available for free to all Victorian families

Families can now access free expert parenting advice through the online Triple P – Positive Parenting Program.

The program is relevant to families with children between 2 and 16 years and provides strategies to deal with specific challenges, such as building children’s resilience and dealing with conflict.

There are courses specifically for parents of toddlers to tweens, and for parents of pre-teens to teens.

It gives parents strategies to:

  • raise happy, confident kids
  • manage misbehaviour so everyone in the family enjoys life more
  • set rules and routines that everyone respects and follows
  • encourage positive behaviour
  • take care of themselves as a parent
  • feel confident they’re doing the right thing.

Sign up to the Triple P program via their website.
