Principal News

I would like to express how proud I am of the hard work the staff have put in to have our students and families ready and raring to go with remote learning again.  The five pupil free days of last week were extensively used and greatly appreciated.

If there is anything anyone needs to further work through this challenging time, please do not hesitate to contact your classroom teacher or school.  We miss you all.

Monique Corcoran & Sally Herbert

During Remote Learning we learnt a great deal. It was impressive the ownership and responsibility parents and families took when sourcing information themselves and communicating with the school only when required.  If you have a question, please access:

ONLY call the school if you have exhausted all avenues above.

Onsite application process

Onsite attendance is available to children on days when they are not able to be supervised at home and no other arrangements can be made. This will be available for children of parents who cannot work from home, any student with a disability and vulnerable children, including:

  • children in out-of-home care
  • children deemed by Child Protection and/or Family Services to be at risk of harm
  • children identified by the school as vulnerable (including via referral from a family violence agency, homelessness or youth justice service or mental health or other health service).

It continues to be of the highest priority that all students who can learn from home must learn at home.

If you require onsite attendance please complete the survey by 4pm on the Thursday prior to the supervision being required.

Virtual Tour Video

A team of our wonderful staff and students have put together a Virtual Tour video that is now available on our website.

The virtual tour video is an opportunity to showcase all that is amazing about our school.

A message from the National office for Child safety:

COVID-19 and Children’s safety

COVID-19 continues to have a life changing impact on the whole Australian community including our children, their families and the organisations they engage with.

For many children, this will be an uncertain and difficult time, but nonetheless the current measures in place are necessary to keep them and their families safe and well. For others, being isolated and away from school, friends, family and activities may create situations where they are at a greater risk of harm.

It’s vital that we, as individuals and as a community, are aware of the risks children face in this new COVID-19 environment, and work together to keep them safe. I hope the following information is useful to you in this challenging time.

An example of one measure is the information below: If you are a child or a young person and you don’t feel safe, you can get help. To report immediate danger to yourself or someone else, call Triple Zero (000). To report a crime, call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or contact your local police. You can also seek help from Kids Helpline by webchat or by calling 1800 55 1800.

For more information on the measures in place to support child safety during this time please refer to this

Welcome Harrison Bunt

We would like to welcome the newest member of the CSPS family - Harrison Bunt, brother of current student Ronin in Year 5b.

Congratulations to the family and we cannot wait to have 'actual' cuddles soon.
