Premiers' Reading Challenge
Deadline : 19th September, 2020
PREMIERS’ READING CHALLENGE
As you know, reading helps ensure children develop important foundational skills – setting them up for school and for life. Just as importantly, reading also helps our kids imagine, explore and learn more about the world around them.
I understand it’s challenging to get access to hard copy books but any books you have at home can be added to the Premiers’ Reading Challenge book list. Also lots of teachers are using online programs like ‘Reading Eggs’ and ‘Epic’ and books in virtual classrooms.
Congratulations to the following students who (during the school holidays) completed the challenge. Woo Hoo! So far GRPS has 33 (6%) students who have finished the Challenge and as a whole school, the students have read 1408 books so far!
