Helpful Hints 2

Holidays are here!

As this term draws to a close, it is a timely reminder for all students to reflect upon their academic performance by taking note of suggestions by teachers in their assessment feedback and to utilise this criticism wisely to increase engagement and support academic improvement. Despite adversity you have all risen to the challenge and will be much stronger! So, be very proud of what of you have achieved and learnt.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude again to everyone, staff, students and parents for your perseverance and collaboration and in navigating the past few months in such a positive, enlightening manner displaying compassion, patience, understanding and support to all. No doubt you will be excited and looking forward to spending time relaxing and catching up with friends and family. I do hope that you too enjoy some time out, appreciate the good things in life and breathe!

Looking forward towards Term 3, the musical production, The Wedding Singer will be a highlight with collaborative rehearsals in full swing. The Gala concert and other co curricula events are planned and will hopefully eventuate if restrictions are lifted.

Included in this communication are several resources for your perusal including the Jump Back July Calendar with daily actions for July 2020 supporting increased resilience in challenging times. Download as an image for sharing or a PDF for printing. The key message is ‘we cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond’.
