The health service community needs to come together to support each other through the COVID-19 crisis. The IHF are organizing a virtual forum for hospital and healthcare leaders to debrief and discuss learnings from the crisis, address big questions on adapting to the "next normal", and explore how health services are improving resilience and transforming for the future. This forum is for the community to engage and exchange key learnings and they aim for it to be highly participatory with major involvement of IHF members.
Event: Learning from COVID-19 to transform health services
Date: November 4-5, 2020
Key topics:
- Learnings from the COVID-19 crisis
- Forward-looking and transforming health services after the COVID-19 crisis
Program format: There will be 2 session blocks per day. The morning sessions will be at 10:00-12:30 CET. The afternoon sessions at 15:00–17:30 CET. Each block will have 1 plenary session and 2-3 breakout sessions. During the sessions, you can ask questions to the speakers, participate in polls and surveys, and chat with fellow attendees. All sessions will be made available on-demand so you can watch recordings of any sessions you miss, when convenient.
You’ll have opportunities to network in between sessions. You can have virtual round-table discussions with fellow participants on any topic of interest, chat, and arrange virtual meetings with speakers and other delegates.
Virtual event platform: The forum will be hosted in a dedicated virtual event platform that would have all of these interactive features. Being a virtual event, it would allow colleagues from anywhere in the world to participate in the comforts of their homes and offices.
