IJQHC Moving to Online Only
A decision has been made that, from August 2020, the International Journal for Quality in Health Care, will be available as a online journal only.
This decision was made for a number of reasons, including the fact that it is more environmentally friendly to be online only and is in keeping with our climate change policy.
The current pandemic has demonstrated that mail can be unreliable and people now are looking for immediate access to information. We have decreased the time between submission and publication, and have begun publishing accepted manuscripts as advanced articles so that the knowledge is spread more rapidly.
As an Institutional Member, you receive site-wise access to the current and previous versions of the Journal. What this means is that anyone, within your organisation, can gain access to the Journal.
If you are unsure how to set this up, or you have misplaced you log in details, please contact membership@oup.com who will be happy to help.
New Journal to be published by ISQua & OUP
ISQua and OUP are delighted to announce that we will be publishing a new Journal in early 2021 called IJQHC Communications.
As well as being a cascade journal from the International Journal for Quality in Health Care (IJQHC), this new journal will focus on quality improvement in the health care system research protocols and the patient journey.
It is planned to publish four editions a year, with the intention of increasing frequency as the flow of published articles increases.
Articles published in IJQHC Communications will be open access. A maximum of 50% of all papers (including both those cascaded from IJQHC and original submissions to IJQHC Communications) shall be eligible to have their Author Charges waived in Year 1.
Opportunities are also available for advertising within the new Journal, and preferential rates will be given to Institutional Members. If you are interested in advertising in IJQHC or IJQHC Communications, please contact Sinead at smcardle@isqua.org.
