Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion

Are you wondering about the Sacrament of Confirmation and how many can attend the two planned Masses?

A letter was sent to Year 6 families last week from the parish. At this time, the Sacrament of Confirmation is to be held in November over two Masses. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the numbers able to attend are not known at this time and may well be greater than what is currently allowed. Parents/Carers will be advised of any additional dates, if necessary, and the numbers allowed at each celebration.

Further information regarding cost and how to book will be sent out by the end of this week.

Jo Kenny shares her story of discovering the depths of love. This was partly prompted from a beautiful passage in the Scriptures where Jesus asks Peter, “Do you love me?” She recognised that this is a question that Jesus is also inviting her to answer every day. Jo generously shares her story of love and how her greatest teachers about love have been her parents, siblings, her husband, and their three children. She has learned about love through their teachings and through the experiences of life, both the joy-filled and the challenging moments. It is a moving story that invites us to reflect on our own story of love.
