Thank you to the St Joseph's Out of School Hours Care Educators
Today is the first-ever NSW OOSH Educator Day and we take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge all the invaluable work of our team here at St Joseph’s so capably lead by Libby.
Our CatholicCare OOSH Educators are a big part of many of our student’s lives, building trusting and long-term relationships with children on a daily basis across the span of their primary school years. They can have a truly life-changing impact on children, acting as inspirational educators, role-models, and mentors. For this, we congratulate them all for their significant contribution.
We particularly commended them for their commitment over the past several months during one of the most challenging times with COVID 19. They have risen to the challenge at the front line, to continue to provide a safe, fun and nurturing care environment for families.
If your child attends OOSH, please join me in congratulating and celebrating all our wonderful OOSH Educators and make them feel valued in their incredibly important profession and acknowledge their contribution to the work of CatholicCare and St Joseph’s.
2020 Nationally Consistent Collection of Data
The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) is a process that all schools must complete on an annual basis. It is designed to count the number of students who receive additional adjustment or 'help' at school because of a disability. The national data collection helps federal and state governments plan for the needs of students with disabilities. It is also the way that schools seek and receive funding to support the learning needs of students.
Please see the flyer attached for further information.
