Our PFA  meetings are currently on hold until further notice. We hope all our Koonung families are staying well during this time of Covid-19.

We look forward to meeting again soon and planning future PFA events with you. 

We will send out a reminder once our next meeting date is confirmed.

Seeking volunteers to co-ordinate our Second hand uniform shop  

Koonung PFA are seeking two new volunteers to coordinate the Second Hand Uniform Shop in 2021.

We encourage you to volunteer for a service that saves  money for our families, benefits the environment and provides funds for the College..… you’ll be loved by everyone! The role is easy, fun, rewarding and allows you connect with school families and staff. The current volunteers (Fiona and Vicki) have faithfully served the school community and are due to finish up at the end of the year (thank you!).  Fiona and Vicki  are keen to provide training for this role during the second semester. 

A few more details:

- running the shop is a great way to have a regular catch up with a friend! (or make a new one) 

- apart from opening, updating sales and stock data takes about an hour a week 

- the shop can open extra days of the year (eg. orientation, second-hand books sale).

- knowledge of Excel is helpful (but also easily learned) 

- it’s preferable that the shop opens weekly, but if you’re interested and this is an issue, let’s still talk!

Second hand books 

Our College is very fortunate to have an annual second hand book sale coordinated by the PFA at the end of each year. The  coordinators for 2020 are Dominique Gifford and Fiona McLean and can be contacted via  email,   booksale@koonung.vic.edu.au
