From the Wodonga Tafe website:
Aspiring creatives will celebrate achievement at this year’s FUSE Creative Exhibition, to be held on Thursday 24 November, 6pm-9pm, at The Valleys Restaurant, at Wodonga TAFE’s McKoy Street campus.
Open to the public and future students, the FUSE Creative Exhibition promises to be a showcase of creativity and student work as a culmination of their studies.
Students completing qualifications in graphic design, photography, visual arts, fashion design, sound production, hairdressing, and interior design have been busy finalising their masterpieces for display throughout The Valleys Restaurant and adjoining study areas in Building G.
The one-night creative gala will be supported by students from the service industry courses of hospitality, patisserie, commercial cookery, bakery, and event management, who will be involved in the catering and back and front of house service throughout the evening.
Creative Industries Educational Leader, Fleur Rhodes, said it was very exciting to again celebrate student achievement on campus. “We’re very excited to see the return of this amazing event which gives our students a great goal to work towards throughout their course. FUSE is a great opportunity for them to publicly exhibit their work as creative professionals.”
“This is also a wonderful occasion to invite our industry colleagues on campus to experience an evening of creativity and see the students’ presentations,” said Fleur. “We are proud of our strong connections with our industry partners who provide students with a range of opportunities such as placement, excursions, and networking. This immersion in industry ensures our students are graduating with current and relevant skills and knowledge for their future employment.”
