Whole School Events

Remembrance Day 2022: 

This Friday Mackellar PS will be recognising Remembrance day with a whole school assembly On Friday November 11th from10:35-11:05 and would like to extend this invite to our wider Mackellar family. If you are free this Friday please feel free to come and join us. We look forward to seeing you there.

Funky Monkey Disco:

On Friday the 21st of October all of our students were invited to a free halloween inspired disco evening funded by the money that was raised during our Colour Fun Run. All the staff and students who attended had a wonderful time. 

Day for Daniel: 

On Thursday the 27th of October our school recognised our most recent Day of Significance as Day for Daniel. Daniel was a boy who didn’t know his safety network and where he could to go to get the help that he needed. He entered a stranger’s car and his parents couldn’t find him and they were really worried about him.  We asked all the students to wear red on this day as Daniel was wearing red on the day he was lost. The students learned about their safety network and were taught how to access the help they need when feeling unsafe.
