School Council

Dear Parents,

As we slowly creep towards the warmer months of the year, we commence planning for projects where warmer weather is required.  One of the largest projects we have planned is to replace the current cracked and uneven basketball courts with new synthetic ones. The current plan, shown below, shows how we plan to incorporate several courts into the space so we can provide opportunities for students during break times, but also so our inter-school sport teams have appropriate and safe playing surfaces that meet the requirements of the students.

If all goes to plan, this work will commence over the Christmas break and will be ready for student use early into the new year. This project, plus the realisation of the newly configured oval which COVID and wet weather has severely delayed, will see all of our teams and students having first class playing areas for use all year round.

As always, a huge thanks to both the Buildings and Grounds sub-Committee and the Facilities Committee, both chaired by Anthony Michielin, for their outstanding work in bringing these projects to fruition. I have no doubt the students will love it!

Regards,
