VCE Art Making and Exhibiting 

On Thursday the 13th of July our VCE Art Making and Exhibiting students attended the NGV at Federation Square to see the Melbourne Now art exhibition. The students were led on a guided tour and explored a range of different artworks, installations and exhibits. The students learned about the diversity of practice among scores of local Victorian artists with a focus on exhibition design and conservation practices. The students enjoyed the interactive displays and, quite surprisingly, loved many of the traditional Australian landscape artworks. Overall, the students responded enthusiastically to the excursion brief and represented the school with pride.
