Mrs Wilson's Environmental news

Chicken helpers please! Can you please lend a hand?
We are looking for chicken helpers over the coming school holidays.
Chooks need feeding both morning and night, and locking up overnight to stay safe from foxes. It’s a quick task that kids love (with the support of an adult).
If you can help, please email Mme Wilson via Compass with dates you are available, if you’re available morning and/or evening, and maximum number of ‘shifts’ you would like.
Thank you!
Chicken feed!

CJC's environment leaders Sylvie and Oscar attended the Moonraker experience in March and the Term 2 workshop about marine life last week with ISIC (I Sea, I care).
We are still collecting bread bags
We are still collecting bread bags and wrap packets for the Wonder Rewards program. There are collection boxes in each area of the school. We are also still collecting plastic bread closures a.k.a. bread tags to be sold to recyclers to support a charity that provides wheelchairs for those who need them in disadvantaged communities. Bread tags can be brought to Mme Wilson in 1/2C or left for her at the office.
