Possums

In Kinder, children learn ways to care for the environment and contribute to a sustainable future. The Possum group have been learning how to repair some things with sewing. We fixed one of our Kinder toys, and Finlay's big pink bunny. The next session we sewed up a hole in Ms Parker's (clean) sock, and children thought about things they have at home that they could bring to Kinder to fix together. We learned about the Port Fairy Repair Cafe, where people in the community volunteer to help repair lots of things - toys, bikes, even computers! We like to care for our world and the things we have been given. We thank God for things we love.

Koalas

This week, the Koala children enjoyed Pyjama Day and read some of the special bedtime stories they brought from home. We also talked about the morning routines children have when they get up, and the night routines they have before they go to bed.
