Dear Families,
A very warm welcome back to all our children and their families. Once again it was wonderful to be greeted by so many smiling faces at the Kent Street gate who couldn't wait to tell me all about their holidays. As I said at our Monday moring gathering, a few more days of holidays would be nice but it it is also great to be back at school with our friends and teachers.
Sadly, as you are aware, we had to start the term with the terrible news of Ethan Hoac's tragic death. As Ethan and his familiy were part of the Triinty School Community for many years, we held a special prayer service for him on Tuesday. It was heartwarming to see a number of past students who went to school with Ethan join us for the service. Ms Antonella, Mrs Recce and Ms Belinda also attended Ethan's memorial service in St Albans on Wednesday to represent our school community.
It is only day four of the term and already I can see great learning taking place in each of our classrooms. I have hosted a number of school tours this week and am very proud of our children and teachers as our visitors always leave with extremely positive impressions of our school. I have included below our Term Learning Overviews for each of our classes as well as our specialist subjects. Thank you to our teachers for the work that goes into ensuring the learning is both challenging and relevant to the needs of their students.

Our School Prayer
Thankyou for this day
which has been filled with hope and joy.
May the lessons we learn today help us to make good choices tomorrow.
May we continue to treat each other with care and respect
as we follow in the footsteps of Saint Ignatius.
May we find God in all things.
We give thanks for this wonderful world.
Amen.
Parents & Friends
We are looking for a lead volunteer and helpers to tackle the clothing collection at Trinity for the sustainable disposal of old uniforms and other clothing/shoes that aren't good enough for donation. Bernadette Mathias (William and Thomas' mum) has put a lot of the ground work in surrounding this and would be happy to discuss and handover her notes. Please contact Bernadette directly or I am happy to put you in touch with her (my email is jennelles007@gmail.com).

Parent Talking Circle
As you will have seen on our community calendar, this coming Monday 17th July we have planned to hold a Parent Talking Circle on the topic of communication between school and home. We know that this is one area we would like to improve and have begun to explore some electronic options currently used by other schools to try and simplify and centralize our communications. We would love your input, so if any parents are free on Monday morning after drop off please let us know HERE and we will gather in the Mezzanine for a conversation.
