An excellent end to the Term/Semester where Prep/1s continued writing their rhythms

(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x95tqK4d7KQ) and started exploring Solfege hand signs. They looked at three pitches: Do Re and Mi, exploring high and low notes using their voice and checking the notes on the glockenspiel and the keyboards.

Grade 2/3s finished off their BandLab podcasts and song compositions and finished with a listening party. Here are some examples from the students, which demonstrate creating multiple layers, dynamic automation and structure.

Grade 4-6 finished off their ukulele chords and melodies and were introduced to BandLab.

This also allows me to say a warm thank you to the whole community for making me feel so welcome to this fantastic school. Next term we will be doing more performing arts with the dance group "Dance N Schools" doing a 4-week incursion for the end-of-term festival.
