Stronger Communities Programme Grant

Last week our community partner, the Croydon Hills Netball Club and the school were informed that we were successful in our application via the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Programme.  With the support of Federal member Michael Sukkar, we secured a maximum $20,000 in funding which will be used to install a four-tier sun-safe grandstand overlooking the netball courts. 

Thank you to Angela Stevens for her work preparing the grant and the Netball Club for partnering with our school to enhance our shared facilities. 

School Council Meeting Next Wednesday

School Council is meeting next Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Staffroom. 

Last month the School Council passed:

• An updated Homework Policy with alterations to the way the school communicates non-completion of homework and the inclusion of Maths homework in the lower levels of the school.
• An fully revised Attendance Policy with changes to come in line with the Department of Education’s policy requirements. 
• Updates to the OSHC fee schedule per last week’s newsletter.
