We are learning to write a transactional text. 

VOCABULARY

Transactional text: 

A text written for someone. It will include a greeting, message and sign off. 

Card: 

A kind of letter we write to someone to celebrate or commemorate a big event.

Do you know anyone in your family who is celebrating a birthday, or a big event in their life? This is when we can write them a card to wish them well!

Choose someone in your family to write a birthday or celebration card. 

Use the following text structure to help you:
