As mentioned over the last 6 months the majority of the current P&F Committee will be finishing up at the end of this year. Thus it’s time to welcome in a new Team and Members to Committee.
The P&F is an integral part of the school community, supporting many activities your son(s) participate in throughout the year such as the Kokoda Expedition, Boxercise, Robotics, PAPA and Science Competitions to name a few. Without the P&F many initiatives that your son participates in cannot be supported or continue to run.
P&F is flexible and fun. It requires only four meetings per year - 1 per term - and a handful of events over the course of the year. You can therefore volunteer to any capacity that suits your busy lives. Being a committee member is a rewarding way for parents to be more involved in the College, meet new people, and to have a direct say in the decisions and outcomes of the P&F, representing all parents of the College and contributing to the College and the students, and conducting social activities for the parents. The team is assisted by a significant number of volunteers from within the school community who turn out at each event, thus making it a productive, social and satisfying way of being involved in the school community.
