Year 12 Presenting Morning Tea to College Staff
Fr Jim McKeon, our Parish Priest at Our Lady of Dolours Chatswood, has given a prayer card to each of the Year 12 students for their preparation for the Higher School Certificate and we continue to pray for all our Year 12 students. I share the prayer with you below.
PRAYER BEFORE MY HSC EXAMS
Loving God, I know that I am not alone in these exams
because you are here with me now and you love me.
Help me to remain calm, to remember the information I need,
and to trust that you have a wonderful plan for my life.
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find;
knock and the door will opened to you."
Below are the Year 12 Graduation details for your information:
Sincere appreciation to the College community for the contributions to our hampers for the community of Coonabarabran. I thank the Gardiner family (Matthew Year 12) for their assistance in transporting these hampers on our behalf during the upcoming holidays.
The Drought Relief Appeal Raffle was a huge success and I again thank Bowerhaus Jewellers for their donation of prizes to the value of $10,000. I am very pleased to announce that we have raised $30,000 for the farmers of Coonabarabran and surrounding districts which will be distributed through the St Vincent de Paul Society.
The raffle draw was held yesterday afternoon and the three major prizes were won by:
1st Prize: Philip Sheldon

3rd Prize: Jake Ormsby
There are another 97 smaller prizes valued at $80 each and the complete list of names can be found below. Prizewinners are asked to contact Ms Marilyn McHugh on 9411 4733 or call into the Administration Office to collect and sign for your prize.

Once again, we thank all those who have contributed significantly to this Drought Relief Appeal and I thank Bowerhaus Jewellers, Mr David Blake, Mrs Jo Schuster, Mrs Donna Dempsey, Mrs Jane Higgins and the Performing Arts Parents Association (PAPA). I particularly thank the students who have sold these tickets and returned them. Sincere thanks to all.
The College farewells Ms Gripton, Knowledge Innovation Coordinator, at the end of this term. Ms Gripton will be taking up the position of Director of Teaching & Learning at Loreto Kirribilli and will be a member of Loreto's Leadership Team.
I deeply appreciate that Ms Gripton has stayed at the College expressly to complete her Year 12 classes for their HSC. Ms Gripton has been an outstanding teacher and leader in our school and the College offers its appreciation and best wishes for her future.
